2020-2021 School Year Update
We hope you had a safe, relaxing, and rejuvenating summer! While this school year will look a bit different from any other, we are really excited about seeing our string students again soon, whether that means virtually, in person or both!!
While there will be no full orchestra rehearsals scheduled for the time being, we want you to know that we WILL BE OFFERING SECTIONAL STRING LESSON GROUPS this year, either virtually and/or in person. During any in-school sectionals, we will be following all safety and distancing protocols to keep students and teachers safe while we make music together.
As soon as our plans are in place, we will be contacting parents, offering a way to sign up for our program. And at some point, we will be stopping by classrooms to say "Hi!" and answer any questions.
In addition, we are creating google classrooms for each grade where string students can begin exploring some lovely listening suggestions and other cool materials. All of our lessons for the year will be posted on these sites and it will serve as a way for us to communicate with each other.
Please see the Instrument Requirements/Rentals page below for more information regarding instrument rental/repair/tuning etc.. We are grateful that David French Music Company is currently open for appointments and curbside pickup. Please contact them directly for your instrumental needs!
